Adjunct Professor Geoff Syme has over 35 years’ experience as a social researcher, with expertise in: the social psychology of natural resource management; procedural and distributive justice in water allocation negotiation and decision making; uncertainty and acceptable risk in community involvement; social impact assessment; and integration of social science, economics and hydrology in policy problem solving.
Geoff was the project leader of an integrated evaluation of scale in watershed development in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Geoff’s role in the SIAGI project will be to guide the development of the integration framework.
Dr Serena Hamilton is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Ecosystem Management, ECU.
Serena’s research interests include integrated assessment and modelling, ecohydrology, Bayesian network modelling and decision support tools for water resources management.
Serena’s role in the SIAGI project will involve the development of the integration framework, model development and assessment, and scenario analysis.
