Dr Pulak Mishra has over 18 years’ experience in teaching and research in fields including public policy and rural development, mergers and acquisitions, and the technology strategies of Indian companies. Pulak’s research interests include market-policy-institution linkages for sustainable and inclusive development, and the socio-economic and ecologic implications of rural infrastructure development.
Pulak will conduct economic analyses of value chains, model policy implications, and map the institutional landscape in West Bengal. Pulak will also contribute to the development and promotion of equitable value chains to support socially excluded or marginalised groups, and will coordinate Indian components of SIAGI project.
Dr Bhagirath Behera has 10 years’ experience researching natural and environmental economics, rural development, and development economics.
Bhagirath will assist in the economic analysis of value chains, model policy implications, and map the institutional landscape of West Bengal.
